I’ve owned my 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 4MATIC for about 3 years now, and overall I’m very happy with it. The ride is smooth and the cabin is well-insulated, driving at highway speeds is almost silent, and it handles curves with confidence. I love the interior; there’s plenty of space for passengers in front and back, and the tech feels modern (the safety stuff, the sound system, etc.).
Some things aren’t perfect: gas mileage is not great, especially in city driving or with heavier loads. I also got the larger wheels which look amazing but make the ride a bit stiffer over bad roads. Maintenance costs are what you expect with a luxury SUV, parts, service, sensors, etc. can get pricey.
But considering everything, for what this car delivers in comfort, prestige, and performance it’s been a solid investment. I would recommend it, especially if you prioritize luxury and road manners over bare-bones utility.
