I’ve owned my 2019 Pathfinder SL for about three years now, primarily for family use and commuting. The room is fantastic, my kids can stretch out in the second row, and with the third-row folded, we can haul bikes, groceries, luggage easily. The engine has enough power to merge on highways without feeling strained, even when full of passengers.
What I don’t love: the gas bill is steep sometimes, especially in city driving, and the infotainment feels like it’s lagging behind what newer SUVs offer. Also, the ride can be a little firm over rough roads, and when the third row is up, storage behind it is tight.
Overall, though, for what we paid, it’s been a reliable, comfortable family SUV that checks most of our boxes.
